sera thinks it’s a formality, or her job as the priestess of the coven to make sure all her members had made their home in their dorms. but then there are people like boyeon who are too at home in their dorm.
it was a light little present she gifted to the elder girl, a cute plant that she could grow in her room. sera rarely showed acts of friendship, where everything at school was a formality, but the state of boyeon’s room was a little concerning and she thought it would be a nice excuse to brighten up the place.
“ place it by the window sill, so you can let light in for it to grow. the petals are great for making fragrance potions when it blooms. ”
that’s what she had said only to see over a week later, lee boyeon crouched in the gardens with her plant in the soil -- droopy, dry, and dying.
sera walks up to boyeon still leaning over the soil, her heels especially close. she waits there with a looming silence for the girl to notice her, lips pursed into an unsatisfied expression, exasperated at the state of her gift by the hands of her senior.
