My Birthing Story

One thing I regret when I gave birth to #aegigom was not experiencing Unang Yakap. We just had unang picture! Not even unang singhot because I was dead beat from the 13+hour (and actually induced) labor! I looked so haggard that i would never ever post it!!! Good thing, Luhan was a great latcher that I was still able to breastfeed him exclusively for 6 months and still breastfeeding him now at 18 months with no signs of weaning. Anyway, I vow to make a birth plan for my (hopefully) next baby (or babies kasi nga I want twins or triplets diba? LOL) to include Unang Yakap and delayed cord clamping which is actually DOH's Essensial Newborn Care protocol. I wish all OBs/Pedias/hospitals would follow this evidence based protocol.
