Creative Space

Its where my photos get uploaded from, its where I edit my videos and its where my stories come to life. I present to you my Creative Space.

I remember taking this black and white photo a week out before my month of production was starting out. This was taken when I was in the middle of directing the biggest film in my career so far.

This was a different time, still this creative space lives on til this day. Creating new ideas by the hour to share to the world and to share my creative side. Thats why a shoot, edit, publish and relapse back to the planning stage. Because creating keeps me going in the near future.

Rose Bokeh

While shooting on 35mm film, I thought to experiment with a magnifying lens on a 50mm lens. 

Shooting this shot (especially with film) you have a limited chance of getting it right, looking through the camera with the magnifying lens, noticed that the natural light would overexpose this rose, so still keeping the same aperture I really cranked up the shutter, then focused the subject with the magnifying filter and took the shot.

Being Film I had to wait a week to see the results. To be honest its not all to bad, wished I had a different magnification (as this filter was +4), but it looks unusual yet fascinating.
