New fic is tae x reader, big fantasy, dungeons and dragons sorta vibes with my usual brand of emotional devastation, based off an idea I had back in middle school that I'm so thrilled to finally be breathing life into.

Can't promise that the winner will posted immediately, as two of these chapters are still getting edited, and the other I'll need to set up the masterlist for and all that; this is mostly just to help me know where to (try to) focus my energy.

So I have just about all of the next eot chapter written - except the opening scene. I've written three different versions of it and I just can't decide which one I like the most. Any of them work and do what is needed for the rest of the chapter, I just can't decide. So I turn to tumblr!!

Hello! 🍉

I know it's been a hot minute since I've actually posted anything on here and not just queued or reblogged something, but I wanted to let you all know that I still exist! And to give everyone an Edge of Tonight update.

Edge of Tonight is not on hiatus.

I know I haven't updated in, idk, a year maybe? But I have every intention of finishing this story, come hell or high water. In fact, I'm nearly done with the next chapter! Ideally I'd like to post it around the end of the month/beginning of next month, but we'll see how it plays out. So if you've been waiting for an EOT update, just hold out a little longer! It's officially coming soon!

As far as other projects go...

Dusk chapter one will come out probably after the next EOT chapter, and I think those are the main two stories I'll keep focusing on. Come autumntime, I'll revisit Devil Town (because I am also dead set on finishing that, but rn just isn't the right vibe for it, ya know?) And in December, we'll see if I can get my Seokjin series started (but I make no promises on that end). All other one-shots, two-shots, and future series will wait until I get at least EOT Main finished.

hello it is 2:45AM and The Muse has struck me again, after writing for nearly 3 (THREE!!!) hours the next eot chapter will be over 4k words, leaning towards 5k (there's still some editing to do so it could go either way) that is all

okay so like.

i just wrote for almost 2 hours straight and i finished the entirety of the next eot chapter??

i mean, there's still some editing to do but i think it's mostly done. and i am in shock bc it's like less than half the size of most of my recent chapters (a short and sweet 3.3k words) and part of me wants to beef it up a bit but idk where

so anyway all this to say that the next eot chapter might be dropping sooner than we think

I've been working on it by writing 200 words a night for the past, pfft idk, 2 months now?? Writing a whole chapter in a week is scary but 200 words at a time is bite-sized and easy! It does feel a lil disjointed reading thru the whole thing rn bc of it but that's what editing is for~~

I'd be willing to drop maybe a small teaser if yall wanted, a bit of dialogue or something. This chapter is a bit more focused on mc x maknae line (like how the last chapter was more mc x hyung line) so your options are
