My Win10 laptop is back from the tech guys. And TS2 works like an absolute treat! I have been able to load up my 3-flavour MCC and it’s 17GB(!) CC folder without a hitch. I am looking forward to getting back to playing, but am still planning on building my new downloads folder and starting a new ‘hood soon.

Thank goodness for computer techs who know how to make old games run on new machines!

And the Summer round ends for the wood choppers.

Notable achievements this round:

* The entire family came down with flu... Multiple times. Octha finally succumbed on day 7 of Summer. He was 60 years old.

* Randal went steady with Fritheswith, then proposed. They are now proposed and planning on marrying in the Autumn.

* Young Randal is now 17, and an independent teen. He is still going strong with Rowena, and they will marry when they are both adults.

* Aylild and Hendina did kid stuff...

* Ymma did lots of cooking and cleaning.

* Randal sold the home business and cashed in all his money rewards.

* The family earned $1,800 in income, plus a ton in business rewards. They paid $33,800.00 in tax, leaving them with $796 in family funds... Which at first I thought was wrong, but then I remembered the house extension they did before my last laptop broke.

Next family up is the Miners. But first, the treasury had surpassed $120,000, so we can add the Monastery, Bathhouse/Brothel, the second Thegn Hall and the Ealdorman Hall.
