EP200 Turning Over A New Bayleef
I mean I’ve really just been binging the whole series over a couple of weeks and I’ve not been super invested and checked out theories and all that. But I wouldn’t call it a bad episode. I’m so used to things ending horribly now, and I don’t think this really did so. As of right now, I’m feeling pretty alright with the final.
In the end we got both of the options they were mostly considering, adding in some extra suspense there. Also Jonah is finally dead 👏 and no mercy on him! “I don’t want to die” “neither did they” 👏 also the voice acting? Like the anger in Jon’s voice there? 👌
And the tma world is alright it seems. I mean I guess it didn’t really get the time to dig into... things like... just how would the world get back in order after all that fuckery? They seemed to remember (would the ones who forgot themselves remember again?). People are on a worldwide scale deeply traumatized, wonder how that’s gonna go. Those therapist are gonna work overtime while dealing with their own trauma. (Can it be a world where capitalism is dismantled and replaced with something better? Don’t think many would want to go right back to job again lol)
And then there’s this (I’m gonna go with this not these) other world where Jon and Martin could have gone to together with the fears, or maybe not. *Open for interpretation*, I think that’s alright. (Edit: Though I guess everyone going for the dead certainty :// which I mean... ye but guys ;-; + Jon being a mystery but that’s only his end not all of him... ;-;) They got to be a little selfish in the end, perhaps. Together at least. Rip to that/those worlds I guess. Cool statement though. Don’t really have much to say. Just... cutting the tether... does that mean cutting his eyes or killing/close to killing Jon? Maybe I haven’t properly understood that whole part of the plan.
Edit: okay I be feeling more on those feels now (I hate finales at times... cause... I struggle with my feelings, they never feel enough in a sense)
