Thanks to this question, I wanted to give Hermes a redesign because I didn't like the one I had… and he accepts flowers!
Okay I know we make jokes about Hermes twerking it up on the raft while Ody is literally trying to survive. But can I point out that Hermes stayed with Ody up until Charybdis. All he had to do was deliver the bag and a warning, and then his job was done. He chose to stay with his great-grandson. He chose to keep him company. And that's just adorable.
yknow it’s really funny that Hermes only shows up when NO ONE ELSE is around. he said fuck the rest of you I’m here for ody !
It’s also funny to imagine Odysseus being like “I saw hermes and he gave me drugs” and eurylochus just being like “what the FUCK are you on about”
