fast forward 10 mins
both you and wonhee headed into one of the empty practice rooms.
“bro i don’t want to do this,” you say quietly, shutting the door behind you. wonhee chuckles a bit, then looks over at you. “you knew you couldn’t avoid him forever y/n, it’s just a quick dance video.”you step back to press yourself against the wall, a loud sigh escaping your mouth.
“it’s because you still like him isn’t it?” wonhee asks with a slight smirk on her face. you click your tongue. “no! obviously not!” but the way you said it made it seem as if you were unsure if you truly meant it.
“mmm sure! whatever you say!”
you jokingly slap her arm. she smirks.
suddenly the door by you two opens up. the person you dreaded to see stepped in quietly, seonghyeon. you avoided eye contact at all costs, but you noticed through your peripheral that he was staring at you.
a loud voice behind him interrupted, martin. “hi! nice to see you guys, it’s been a bit.” wonhee nodded. “it has, congratulations on your debut!” they smile, a slight bow following.
“thank you!” seonghyeon says. “it’s nice to see you, y/n.”
you look up at him, pressing your lips together and forcing a smile.
“yup, you too.”
martin and wonhee immediately sensed it. the tension.
“so should we start with not cute anymore or go?” wonhee asks, trying to switch topics. “go is good! do you guys know it yet or…” martin starts walking to the center of the practice room, you three following behind.
“we know a little bit, but a refresher would be helpful,” wonhee adds.
martin nods.
“we’ll teach y’all then real quick.”
fast forward a bit
martin and seonghyeon helped you learn ‘go!’ too, and shortly after, both of you quickly taught them ‘not cute anymore.’
now it was time to film the tiktoks.
you filmed ‘not cute anymore’ first, which went smoothly, then ‘go!’
while watching back the first take, you didn’t like how you looked. part of you wanted to speak up, but you also really didn’t want to drag this awkwardness out.
seonghyeon glances over at you.
“wanna re-take it?” he whispers. you look over at him a bit too quickly. “oh uh… y-yeah, kinda.”
he smiles softly.
“ok, we’ll redo it.”
you nod.
how he was acting threw you off. you had been actively avoiding and ignoring him for over a year. why was he acting so chill?
you did the re-take as requested, the results turning out fine.
you said your goodbyes, the boys leaving first.
a huge weight had lifted off your shoulders.“oh my gosh finally, i thought it would never end.”
wonhee scoffs.
“so dramatic y/n, it wasn’t even that bad. he doesn’t seem hurt either. maybe you’ll reconnect.”
you shake your head.
“no way.”
wonhee scoffs once again.
“so stubborn.”
the thought of reconnecting with him doesn’t sound bad at all, but you were scared.
how can you reconnect after so long? what if he has some sort of animosity towards you? can you really go back to how things were?

You hadn’t replied to Juhoon on twt because you knew what he was saying is straight up bullsht.
In the evening you get texts from Juhoon which you really didn’t want to open.
But he kept spamming so you had to at some point.
As promised Juhoon took you out on a date and “apologized” for his mistakes.
And you somehow forgave him.
You knew he was cheating.
You knew he was manipulating you.
You knew all of that.
And still couldn’t dare to break up with him.
“Ugh what should I do?” I said pouting, rolling and moving around my bed.
“Should I break up” I said sitting up.
“But I can’t…” I let myself drop on my bed whining.
Suddenly your stomach started growling as if it was directed at you.
“I’m hungry and I don’t have anything to eat.”
“I’ll go by the convenience store.”
You practically forced yourself to stand up.
Hair messy.
Pyjamas ruffled.
Slippers on.
You picked up the keys to your door.
You slipped your shoes on and left the door informing your parents you were going to the convenience store since they were out on vacation and left you alone.
You probably looked like a monster but could genuinely not give a fck.
The door did the small noise when you entered the store.
“Welcome!” The cashier said with a smile.
Bowing simply with a smile was everything you could do at that moment.
As you passed the drinks which you’ll pick later.
You arrived at the aisle with different buldaks and snacks.
You just took what you liked and went back to the drinking aisle and took a cola.
Back to the cashier you paid with your phone since you left your wallet at home.

As you returned home.
The house felt warm once you entered.
