After leaving OBX...spent a night outside Raleigh, NC on a beautiful buggy lake. The stars were in alignment as one of my dearest friends, Dusty Shehan was in Raleigh with her daughter. She came to hang with us which was great!! After a morning paddle with heron, bald eagle and deer sightings we headed to The Great Smoky Mountains! 2 days, little sun (from rain and from lush green forest), and no internet gave rise to streams, rivers, and butterflies!
