Drove about 9 hours to see these guys in Dallas! And it was worth it! Just wanted to mention a few highlights:
Tablo stopped his solo of “Airbag” cause Tukutz had come on stage to lip sync Naul’s parts. He said Tukutz ruined his “moment.”
They stopped in the middle of “It’s Cold” cause the song was “too cold” and wanted something “cool.”
They performed “Light It Up,” which I was not expecting at all, and I loved it!
Tablo messed up his verse in “Born Hater” so he redid the lines without the music, and apologized. BUT I don’t remember if he apologized for that or for saying “motherfuckin’” directly to someone in the audience lol.
After Tablo said he knew how B.I. felt, somebody near me said “Where he at?”
When they came out to do an encore performance of “Born Hater” and “Don’t Hate Me,” they were wearing black cowboy hats!
Tukutz proved to be the dance machine that he was while grooving to “One of a Kind.”
They danced to “Fan” after they said the dance hasn’t aged well haha!
Tukutz took a statue of liberty head band from somebody in the audience, and Tablo was like “Why are you wearing that? We’re in Dallas!”
I kept hitting random people in the head with my lightstick!
When it was time for the group picture, Tablo to said to make the hardest/meanest face possible cause he heard that was a Texas thing and everyone was just like “whaa...?”
Mithra stayed on stage the longest in the end, and reached out his hands into the audience! So close yet so far :/
I’m still sore, and I think I’m coming done with a cold, but when I think about this experience I got to share with my friends I feel better inside! I can’t wait for Epik High to come back to Texas!
