This is what maintenance looks like for my scalp these days. By now, it is painless - in spite of my face looking rather tense here most of the time. But a word of warning to all that consider trying this themselves: this was very, very painful in the beginning.

The smoothness afterwards is just indescribable. And it doesn’t go away after twelve hours like when you use a razor. By the way, my skin doesn’t look nearly as red under normal light conditions; at least I‘d like to think that ☺️.

Story time because I need opinions.😖👉👈

A little while ago I ended up getting waxed by my friend. She finally found some time, and we set it aside to use the thingy we bought in the mystery store. So she came over and it was really fun at first cause we were just hanging out😇

But then it started.

It took forever. It needed to heat up and it was complicated and hot ouch. Then the actual waxing. It was awful and hurt alot; 4 hours of pure agony. (also it was embarassing and omg wow when she was taking charge😖👉👈😖😖😖😳) And to top it all off I was all sticky after she was done with me, and i couldnt wash it off no matter how hard i tried🥺

But after a few days it was amazing. My skin was so smooth and shiny and amazing🤤. And my legss they were so shinyyyy and smooth. I've never felt like that it was a totally new experience. But that was a few weeks ago and now my hair is starting to grow back.😢

I dont wanna wax again because that was awful, so i looked into other options and epilators are a thing i didnt previously know about because this is all new to me👉👈

Should I get an epilator? Was almost gonna get one, based on someone's reccomendation, but didnt click buy on the shopping cart cause im just so nervous😖😖😖👉👈. Is it even worth trying to keep the hair away? It felt so nice when i was smooth but i just dont know :(

Opinions on epilators? Smooth boys? Is it worth it? Advice? Pls help🥺💕

Tmi, but I just used an epilator on my bikini area for the first time (like a shaver, but it plucks your hairs from the root like waxing would) and holy fuck that was not fun. We're taking a break and gonna go at it again tomorrow, fam 😂

Went and decided to take a crack at epilating my face again (basically using an automatic plucker) instead of shaving (haven't tried for over a year at least).

I think the results were way better this time around, tho! (Yay hormones!)
