my life was changed when in bash, burt comments about the kid kurt helped running away and kurt replied with “I don't know what that kid's story is, I only know what mine is. And I've been fighting these guys for a really long time.”

he really said that and i love that it harkens back to his experience with homophobia throughout his life. i can criticize glee for a lot of things but i can’t criticize them for how they handled kurt’s story and growth

My favorite song: Ugh all the music is so gooood this episode. I probably listen to Broadway Baby the most. It’s so fun and such a cute Anderberry duet. Also obviously I’m Still Here. Aaand No One Is Alone. Into The Woods is one of my favorite musicals 

My favorite quote: I don’t know what his story is. I only know what mine is. And I’ve been fighting these guys a really long time

My favorite moment: Kurt running in to help a complete stranger without a second thought bc he’s brave and amazing. Also when Blaine crawls into the hospital bed next to him bc it just breaks my heart 

My least favorite moment: Sam’s racism?? Honestly I dislike the Samcedes storyline this ep more than I dislike Rachel’s storyline

My favorite character: Is this even a question?? Of course it’s Kurt

ALSO, if you don’t mind. I really really hated how during b*sh, Kurt and Blaine didn’t have a mature conversation about getting beaten up especially since it’s a common topic for both. It would have been nice for us to see B asking K how he’s feeling and K asking/telling B how he’s having nightmares(maybe) and B helping him while telling him more about his attack. Even during the rock salt slushie, it’s like “Time to sing and end this storyline chop chop” :(

Jesus Christ we literally could have so much extra if they just dialed back Rachel, or general hetero bullshit lmao

In Michael real quick like they can’t be alone for five gotdamn seconds (with Blaine in bed and Kurt in a chair like they’re social distancing lmao) before the het parade comes busting in singing a song about a fucking rat. Like fuck all the way off lmao I hate it

But oh my god Bash is so awful. They spent sooo much time on Sam and Mercedes, and Rachel and her stupid dumb ass NYADA drama and the gay bashing was literally like an afterthought. They didn’t do anything with it. Blaine and Kurt didn’t even talk. It was just handled so poorly and makes me sad :(
