We had a stellar day of progress! Emily is in a walking boot (but no walking for at least another 4 weeks) which means her leg can breathe and doesn’t weigh as much. That boot can come off when she is just sitting or relaxing. Emily got her toes did yesterday. They are red and white for an anime character we all love. But get this…it’s become the mascot of this surgery because his name is Shoto Todoroki. ShoTOE TOEdoroki. 🤣🤣🤣. She just keeps telling us she can’t wiggle her ShoTOES right now.
