i decided to make a list of all the overlap between modest mouse and elliott smith because i’m a weirdo and this means a lot to me

1. elliott talking about the band in the untitled modest mouse documentary (also shown in the pitchfork documentary)

2. interview of pat grahm talking about modest mouse opening for elliott smith (im trying so hard to find more on this show but ive been unsuccessful)

3. interview of johnny marr “crediting” elliott for introducing him to modest mouse

4. live from nowhere near you vol.2,, contains both the real estate - elliott smith & dead end job at the dead letter office - modest mouse (they are also next to eachother on the tracklist :D )

5. less interesting but a random bootleg i found on the internet that has songs by both elliott & modest mouse

other: while searching i found a reddit post saying they saw an interview of jeremiah green talking about the band being friends with elliott BUT i cant find anything else about this interview :( in another post someone mentioned there being a clip of isaac brock & elliott playing guitar together in the pitchfork doc. but im 99% sure its not isaac EDIT: its not isaac it’s sam coomes of quasi!

if anyone has anymore knowledge on this please let me know!!!!! especially on the show where modest mouse opened for elliott !!!!
