Spending some time relaxing, well, at least downtime, Sado would be in the break room with his two friends, Eric Kohler and Analice Venice, a former Zeon pilot, looking over some of the things they've done in the past to try and figure out a pattern that they might need to address going forward.
They'd been dealing with Zeon Remnants for a while, but they didn't normally have a resupply to worry about with them. The Titans on the otherhand were well supplied and had plenty of mobile suits and manpower, at least in comparison to the AEUG.
"So, so far, nothing that the AEUG doesn't already know. I think they know way more about what the Titans are doing than we do."
"Which leaves the reptiles....which we don't really know too much about either...."
"....I really hope we didn't waste half an hour just to say we don't know anything..."
"....." Sado puts up a finger. "W-well....we know what we DON'T know at least....hopefully?" It was clear that despite their experience in the field, they weren't the best strategists, nor did they have any intelligence network to work with, hence why they joined up with the AEUG in the first place.
They were a group that was working with very limited resources, supplies, and manpower against three different factions. They had the willpower and wit to pull through, but they were more effective reacting to enemies, rather than taking the initiative given their limitations.
Working with Karaba would lead the crew to get upgrades thankfully, given their poor resources before joining up against the Federation. It wasn't a difficult decision given how their warnings were ignored about the Dinosaur Empire, threatening the world, humanity. It didn't matter if the AEUG or Titans won if the Dinosaur Empire was left unchecked. Humans would go extinct.
Sado absolutely did not like the fact that they had to become enemies of the Federation, but at the same time, they made the decision way too easy for them. Now, they finally had back up. Eric's Zaku was getting much needed upgrades in order to bring it into the modern age. It was nearly a 7 year old mobile suit having to go up against state of the art transforming MS AND the likes of the giant Mechasauruses.
It was for that reason that Sado knew for sure, Eric was the better pilot at the end of the day. He was able to keep up with him in an outdated machine. He's the real ace around here while Sado had to rely on that strange power. Now they were going to try and replicate it for the Zaku, using the Getter Gundam as a basis for it. If they succeeded, then they'd both be able to take the fight to the Dinosaur Empire and beat them down for good.
Analice would need help too with her machine. More mobility, improved magnetic coating, and trying to reduce the strain on her cybernewtype enhancements...the poor girl didn't deserve the horrid fate that they gave her, but they'd do their best to help her.

Time out here in Japan slowed down during the calm moments between fights. It was during these times that the crew would relax and enjoy some cuisine from the locals. Sado, Eric, and Analice would be eating hot takoyaki and enjoying the calm breeze blowing. At the foot of Mt. Asama, there was a lot going on overall between the Zeon Remnants and the Dinosaur Empire, and the village here was caught in the middle of it. It was all they could do to keep it from being destroyed in the crossfire of the factions.
Sado would stare at his food for a bit as he waited for it to cool, and he realized something. “You know, I’ve never actually been to the ocean yet...I wonder what it’s like.”
“You’re a fan of seafood and you’ve never seen the sea. Ironic. What are you gonna do when you get there, become a fish?”
“Oh haha, very funny.”
“I may use an old Zaku II, but I can still run circles around most pilots after all the fights I’ve been in.”
I need to redownload Gundam Breakers so I can do more quick designs like I did before. I liked making mobile suit concepts like Eric’s Zaku II here.
