Another new development is Starla's brother Erik getting back from college. Both their parents have passed away now, so it's just the Yu siblings and their cats, Bobo & Daisy. If I remember right all three of them are pleasure sims, so they've been going on plenty of dates.

Starla and Nora are still going strong - they actually got engaged recently! So I had Nora move in. I still need to decide what to do with Nora's family - since they're tourists their aging is disabled by default. Hmmmm, we'll see!

The wedding ruins, most of the guests immediately make a break for it. Mostly it’s Starla’s family to leave, but Scarlett also decides this ain’t her scene.

Scarlett: Shit, sorry bro. What a bitch! I always figured you could do better anyway. I’ll call you later, okay?

It’s wedding time, and everyone’s here! The two boys in the last picture are Erik and Kacper, Starla’s little brothers.

Paxton: So this is where our little girl’s been living.

Zhi: Not a bad place!

Starla: Hi, daddy!

Paxton: Hello, sweetheart.

The Yu family come over for another visit. It’s only now that I’m posting up the pictures I realise how little Layla and Kurt were over, compared to Starla’s family. I guess I was just really curious about them, haha.

I didn’t actually grab too many pictures of this visit, but it was pretty cute! I kinda wish I’d spent less of the twins’ childhoods on vacation and more time building up their relationships outside of the household - I hadn’t taken the SP agining into account when booking them a full 5 days, haha. Ah well. There’s still time to catch up!

Abe: Who are you? Not another lovechild.

Erik: I live across the road! Can Hallie and Jayden come and play?

Abe: Not in this rain, kid. But you can come join us for lunch, I guess.

Erik popping by & ringing the bell was sort of unexpected, but cute! The kids don’t actually know him yet, but my “headcanon” is that he’s a school friend :) Erik’s part of this “story progression NPC” family!
