ERNESTO (1979) dir. Salvatore Samperi Ernesto is a young Jewish Italian boy who works in his uncle’s factory in Trieste in 1911. Not entirely secure with his sexual orientation, Ernesto enters into an affair with one of his uncle’s employees and visits a whorehouse before finding himself torn between an intense friendship with young Emilio and desire for Emilio's twin sister Rachele.
