Papa Het & Metallica$h Love$ Their Fan$

I’ve watched their sad decent from a cutting edge band that did it ‘their way’ and bucked the norm to artists that fall happily into the all too common trope of:

Soft, profit driven, money grubbing, disconnected celebrities.

I was watching a random video about 'How Hetfield Plays Guitar' but the dickhead who uploaded it bascially stole an Ernie Ball promo vid for some 'custom, limited edition' strings Hetfield is shucking and that's mostly what the vid is about.

So I went on a hunt for the best price in Canaduh or ‘Murika....

Here's the cost, $45.99 for 3 sets, at Canada's biggest music store, Long & McQuade ($64.00 on Scamazon!).

Now here is the exact same product, except for a low E being 2mm smaller & without a 'custom', Kawasaki-dirt-bike-green storage tin at a 46% discount. :

Ernie Ball will claim Papa Het’s, (basically the Paradigm line of overpriced strings, the one’s without a green wrapper and tin), are their only string with a warranty but I’ve read reports online of what an onerous ordeal that is to get a replacement so it’s clearly a marketing gimmick.

Although they’re harder to find than they were when they came out, I swear by Dean Markley Blue Steels. I’ve been using them for many, many, many moons and recorded all my albums with them.

They last forever, tune better than any other string I’ve tried and are brighter for longer. Just my 2 cents based on personal experience.
