( they’ve been hanging out and rubbing off on each other a bit too much ). he sighs and goes to open up a side panel that he’s kept emergency supplies in.   it wasn’t something his model previously had, but the last time he went for a routine software update at cyberlife, he had asked his engineer for the additional setup. something to keep extra medical supplies in- just in case something stupid (read: something gavin-related) happened. taking out the needle and medical-grade absorbable sutures.     “ show me. i’ll fix it so you don’t harm yourself or give yourself an infection. “

there’s a pause, just because he was asked something in particular. “ you’re not the biggest idiot i know, “ he explains, though he’s not positive how much of a truth that is. “ --- it was a low 60% probability. “

asleep rather peacefully for a change, gavin finds himself groaning angrily at his own alarm clock on his phone, nuzzling further into seven's neck and ignoring the sun peeking through the blinds of his bedroom window, "-fuckin' alarm," he grumbles, "five more mintes."

Getting Gavin to sleep was a feat in itself, the man was a known insomniac. It had taken a long time for him to finally sleep for once in Seven’s presence. The RK700 had wanted to spend the whole night watching his peaceful sleeping face but they too fell prey to rest mode. Gavin must have latched onto them during the night as his face was buried in their neck.

They too hated the alarm for ruining this rare and precious moment they had wanted to last longer. Blinking their eyes open as their LED lit up Seven reached for the phone and gently tapped it turning the alarm off, sending the room into silence. Snuggling back into Gavin’s embrace as they closed their eyes. Not returning to rest mode but not in the slightest ready to get up.

“You can have ten more minutes if you keep holding close my love.”

              connor holds off on addressing gavin until everyone else in the lunch room had long since dispersed, either back to their own desks or made the decisions to head home for the night. still, once he was certain everyone was out of ear shot - he slides a cup of coffee across the table to sit in front of gavin.  an offering,  of sorts.  ❛ are you alright?  --- you seem agitated.  more-so than your usual. ❜   ||  @erregent​ liked.

                      When on the job, RK900 was FOCUSED. The mission was what was most important, as well as protecting his partner, and anything that happened with his model came second. The suspect was EASY enough to apprehend; they didn’t expect to be found at their hideout so quickly and as such, didn’t have time to grab their weapon before Nines had a change to restrain them. They did, however, put up a fight, throwing the closest thing near them at the Android in an attempt to bide time to get away: an actual brick.

                     The IMPACT is enough to aggravate Nines further but, of course, not slow him down. An [ ERROR ] appears on his HUD but he’s reacting to the perp too quickly to pay it any mind and quickly dismisses it.

                     It was less than a minute later that the suspect was in CUFFS and they’re waiting for backup to come take him back to the station so Nines can analyze the hideout for evidence. His attention was focused primarily on a caterpillar he’d noticed on the sidewalk when his tactical sensors pick up the WARMTH and pressure of Detective Reed’s hand against his temple.

                     It wasn’t EXPECTED, causes Nines to glance to Reed intrigued, confused. It’s only when he sees blue on his fingertips is he reminded of the error, and the brick. He ran a quick system diagnostic and found that there was a laceration along his TEMPLE, a few inches long, from the brick. Some Thirium had leaked from the seam, and his artificial skin fluttered and glitched around the area, showing the plastisteel beneath.

                     “I don’t FEEL any pain,” is what he comes up with as a response. It was probably a poor choice of words; it was highly unlikely that Detective Reed initiated the action because he was concerned for the Android’s COMFORT.

Positivity Time!

Okay so - funny story. Before I joined the RPC I checked out a couple of blogs and Shi’s was one that came up in the DBH RP tag almost immediately - and honestly? I was SO intimidated to approach at first, once I started writing Connor on here regularly. And now? Now we talk on discord, we plot, we fukken discuss possible shippy threads... life’s good! Turns out Shi is a MAJOR SWEETHEART and just the kindest person ever. I appreciate her SO MUCH.

And her Gavin? -chef’s kiss- Top notch. Definitely one of my favourites. Go follow, or else you’re missing out on the good food!!

    Connolly looked up from the desk that was sat across from Gavins. It was late, most everyone had gone home and the station was nearly empty. However, the two had been stuck filing paperwork after an incident ...more so a deviant and the lead being very vague on a possible new group attacking androids.

    He had brewed another coffee that was waiting for the detective, analyzing the desk in front of him and noticing no real personal stuff such as family photos. The android was not sure what had sparked this statement. 

    “I suppose each family has their differences...did you find this lack of physical  affection to be..troublesome in a way?”
