Okay. So. Don't get me wrong, Sesame street is an excellent, long running show that has done some heavy lifting in terms of children's media.
But it is, objectively, bad at continuity.
A lot of older shows are, and Sesame Street has been running for decades! It's had roughly 4,700 episodes since it started airing in 1969!!!
Its also really bad at having across the board canon for it's characters.
Granted thats not the point of sesame street, but here at Fanfic Incorporated we demand justice for side characters literally no one has thought that deeply about ever.

Did you know that the Count von Count (he's called the count because he loves to Count) has a brother?
I would wager you didnt, because his brother only shows up for ONE GODDAMN SECOND IN ONE SONG IN ONE EPISODE IN ALL OF SESAME STREET.
