ESIC Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) Eligibility Criteria

Diploma / Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Two years of Professional Experience. Candidates are suggested to check the above-mentioned qualification before applying. Age Limit Candidates who are within the eligible age limit can apply for the Junior Engineer post in Employee State Insurance Corporation. Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable in case of Government Servants and employees of ESI Corporation up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Central Govt.) Upper age limit is also relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen & other categories of persons as per rules/instructions of Govt. of India. Crucial date for determining the age limit is 16.12.2018. ESIC Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) Exam Pattern
The Written Examination (Computer Based) shall be Objective Type Multiple Choice (to assess Professional Knowledge and General Knowledge/Intelligence) of total 200 Marks. The Scheme of Written Examination is as under: Papers Subject Maximum Marks Paper 1 - Objective (i) General Intelligence & Reasoning. (ii) General Awareness 50 50 Paper 2 - Objective General Engineering (Civil or Electrical) 100 Duration of Exam is 2 hours. Note: The Qualifying Marks in Written Examination will be decided at the discretion of ESIC. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I and Paper-II.
