A Note from an Admin
First, I want to say thank you all for rolling with the recent changes. I know it was a lot all at once, but everyone handled it with minimal disruption to the game. We managed to finish our roadtrip on a great note. So thank you to all of the players for your great work. It has made this game truly a pleasure to be a part of.
Second, we will be doing our time jump back to high school starting Friday, 24 Mar 2017. Please wrap up all you need to for the next 18 weeks. We will pick right back up, but in real time after the time jump. So no need to fret. We’ll be coming right back to this same point. It’s just easier to put the bootcamp player plotting and research into practice doing things this way. I’m really looking forward to getting to play some of the Romantics high school life out. I’m positive it’s going be just as much of an adventure.
Third and finally, the schedule for the time jump will follow similarly to the roadtrip map. It is also currently available for viewing. Just click the “explore” button in the right corner, and look under the “time jump schedule.” I will also post a link following this. I tried my best to span the two years as much as I could. Each week will change to a different event in history, and you’ll have a week to play it out. You can always take longer or do a different week, but please keep those in paras so that it doesn’t confuse time. We also won’t be using the “esilystarter” tag. No starters need to be posted. You only have a week in each event. So all interaction should serve some sort of purpose towards the event happening. For example, if there’s a dance happening, finding a date, shopping for clothes, texts arranging when they’d be meeting up are things that serve very specific purposes to feed into the plot. Please keep that in mind as you make plans for your characters. As always, if there’s any questions, don’t hesitate to ask an admin.
This is a pretty unprecedented thing we’ll be doing in an RP, jump back in time. There are bound to be some bumps, and that’s okay. Just keep the things that were addressed in bootcamp in mind as you plan, and it will be okay. Just have fun with it. As always, please like when you’ve read this.
And now a few words from an admin
I wanna start off by thanking everyone for how active you’re kept the dash. It’s made this game really great, and we all appreciate it so much. I just wanted to post an update of where we and the characters are this week.
First, I know we said we were going to post plot points, but the reason we haven’t is because we haven’t needed to. There’s been a lot going on that you guys have plotted on your own. So kudos for that, but we will probably do one soon. So be on the look out.
Second, this week they’re in Vegas. Today is the “4th of July,” and they will be on the Strip for fireworks (yaay! Murica!). Specifically, they are going to Caesar's to gamble, and the fireworks will start around 9:15PM PST (not that this matters). Please consult the roadtrip map when planning out your paras and things. Sugar is putting everyone up at the Bellagio on Friday which also happens to be the night of the bachelor/ette parties. Finn is throwing Puck’s bachelor party, and Santana is throwing Mercedes’ bachelorette party. So please make sure you get with those players to let them know your character is in attendance.
Third, you will note that, on the roadtrip itinerary, the bus driver for the day has been posted next to the date. Please make sure you’re reading the itinerary to find out who will be driving for the day.
Fourth, please, please, please make sure you are clearing things you character is doing with the other people involved, even if it’s simply posting an instagram photo. Don’t assume that that person would just be okay with you doing that. It’s possible that their character wasn’t even in attendance for the activity. This, of course, goes without saying for plots. It’s not meant to stifle creativity, but to encourage communication and transparency. Please remember that these people have been friends for the better part of eight or so years. Think of how you’d treat your friends of that long (assuming you have friends). Also be mindful that just because people are friends, that doesn’t mean they don’t have frustrations with one another and might vent to each other.

Fans of Mercedes got a hold of the social media handles for all of The Romantics and are now curious for more information. Players can assume all asks they receive come from a random fan, on any form of social media that you seem fit for your character. Answers will be public! So make sure you don’t accidentally end up sharing an embarrassing story. Please like this post once you’ve read it.
Game Updates!
Hey, guys! There are a few important things that have changed in the past week or so. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me or T and we’ll try our best to answer.
Sugar has been replaced by Marley Rose. Marley is not a Romantic, and has only met Puck through his record label. The couple attended Santana’s NYE party, so if your character was there, they would’ve met then.
Puck and Sugar never got together!
Santana’s FC has changed to Nickayla Rivera.
