Dee Kennedy should be angrier actually. She should be seething and violent and passive aggressive and just. Angry
She should be angrier at Jack for neglecting her. Angrier at Peter for moving away. Angrier at Henry for brutalizing her. Angrier at Dave for letting it happen.
She should get to be angry at everyone who wronged her. She should hold resentment for being forced to grow up too fast and having to see it happen over and over with no ability to stop it.
I want to see this girl do her damnedest to hide all of that. To pretend she’s forgiven everyone. To be the “bigger person” and neglect her own feelings for the sake of her family and newfound friends. Then I want to see that mask slip. I want to see the years of hatred and anger slowly seep into every thing she does and says. I want her to demand real accountability from everyone who let her and every other victim of Freddy’s die. I want to see her unleash all of those years of resentment and pain and anger all at once. I want every other character in this series quiver at her feet for the negligence and violence and savior-hood they forced upon her.
