i will say the weirdest part of talks last night was everyone forgetting the very dramatic Revivify Caduceus performed on Fjord this time last year right before quarantine. out of universe, it makes sense because so dang much has happened in our world since and Taliesin never got to talk about it (for reference, he and Ashley, i believe, were scheduled to be on Talks the week they shut down). in-universe, it is even better because it means that Caduceus didn’t even think about it with Fjord. he just did it, running on pure instinct and perhaps selfishness. while i do not think he hesitated for a second with Luc, i do find it says something that he did have to check in with himself over Luc as opposed to the situation with Fjord.
Fjord is family indeed.
