Understanding safety is Bond, tightly wound and hard-edged, readjusting his worldview now that he's in a relationship with Q. This is a oneshot in my 00Q series that's a character study masquerading as omegaverse. I only have the first few lines down.
He doesn't notice. How could he? He's never been interested, not after Vesper, and he has an iron will. What he doesn't care for doesn't take up space in his head and work demands all of his attention.
It leaves no room for the softer side, the omega that wants a safe place to rest. MI6 is for the hardened, where it's easier to be broken, where there's no room for domesticity. He can't remember the last time he was ever safe.
