Red Carpet Review: 2013 ESPY Awards - Derek Fisher
While we already declared DeAndre Jordan our best dressed gent from the 2013 ESPY Awards, there are still some dapper ensembles that stood out on the red carpet and throughout the evening that deserve our attention.

This blue dinner jacket definitely deserved more airtime. As the camera moved around the audience towards the end of the show I saw of glimpse of Fisher clapping in the audience and the contrast between the black satin shawl collar and blue fabric immediately caught my eye. We recently came across this picture from the red carpet and decided it had to be featured.
The contrast shawl collar dinner jacket is always an elegant choice and it's great to see it being done more often in different shades of color, especially this blue which has a teal tint to it. The tuxedo is custom made by Geoff Duran who did an excellent job on the fit as well.
Key styling point: This style dinner jacket is traditionally paired with a bow tie, but he makes it work with a long tie since it is a similar width to the shawl collar; any skinnier and it would not have worked.
