Just needed some headspace. . . . Exam and assignment stress; it never ends well. The constant obsession with getting the work done, and not being able to focus on anything else (at least in my case) is crippling. I knew I had to seek respite, and I did. In my good old friend, the novel. Being lost within its pages for the better part of the day, living the life of the protagonist on his/her heroic quest; it reminds me of the days when the biggest concern I had was going to school the next day (and the homework [ugh] ghat came with it). . . . I’m glad I chanced upon a spin-off from my childhood favourite series, Percy Jackson by @rickriordan . The Trials of Apollo are a welcome jump back into Percy’s world, filled with tales of Greek gods and monsters; a welcome respite from the stress of essays, allowing me to refocus my energies properly when I actually get back to the task.
