ANNOUNCEMENT!

Earlier this year, I made the decision to quit my job and focus fully on writing. 

It sounds pretty simple and easy when I put it that way… BUT I AM NOT CALM!!! I'm excited, I'm nervous, but most of all I'm hopeful. I love writing, but the past few years I've gotten more and more disconnected from it, despite how much I missed actively doing it. But even through the times when it was hardest, when life was at its lowest and darkest for me, I still continued to feel the love and support from the community that made me enjoy writing more than any other: fandom. 

So the first thing I knew I wanted to tackle when I could finally focus all my attention on writing again was finishing my fanfic The Job, a story now ten years in the making (seriously, I checked my Google docs timeline), and five years waiting to be completed. And so it shall be, because I finished writing the epilogue for it as of today. 

The second thing I knew was that I wanted to continue writing fanfiction for as long as it's feasible. 

And the third thing that I think I owe myself is to finally sit down and write a completely original story, one that's all my own to share. 

To that end, I've decided to start a Patreon, where I will be posting both my original content and fanfic. All my fic will still eventually get posted to AO3, but WIPs and stories that take longer to finish will be uploaded on Patreon as I write them. And I've already started writing an original novel that I'm extremely excited to share with you guys first, as the readers who've been with me the longest. Here's a peak at the cover (title—and pretty much everything else about this—very non-finalized):

I'll be providing more updates during this month as I get ready to launch my Patreon page! And of course, stay tuned for more videos, more news, and the final chapters of The Job, coming very, very soon.

COMING SOON: Kagehina Beauty and the Beast AU!

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful castle and a handsome King, who liked to spend his days holding the finest volleyball tournaments in all the land. He was an incredible setter, but demanded the highest level of athletics from those who attended his tournaments. One tournament, a spiker appeared suddenly in the midst of the dark and rainy night, looking for shelter. Though he brought a volleyball as a gift, this spiker wasn’t up to the king’s standards and couldn’t hit his tosses, and the King had him thrown from the castle.  But the spiker turned out to be a Magical Turniphead, and for the King’s cruelty, he cast a spell upon him and the entirety of his castle, turning the King into a monstrous beast and all his servants into furniture, that they may be forgotten from the minds of the town and all those who lived in it, unless the King one day found a spiker who could hit his impossible quicks – and fall in love with him along the way.  If he could not do so before the last spot on the Turniphead’s magical volleyball turned completely black, he, and his castle, and all those who lived in it would be cursed, forevermore.  And so they waited, as the Beast King’s heart turned forever colder.

Hello! Thank you for checking in, it seems this site just doesnt give me emails anymore when I get inbox messages and I've no idea why that is so I haven't seen anything...

I'm doing okay! Have definitely been off all social media a lot more but its felt kind of like a necessary mental reset for me ^^ Work IRL has also been a lot busier the past few months than it was the last couple of years for various reasons, but its all good stuff!

Thank you for checking in, I'm still here just lying dormant.... can't wait to start sharing stuff again soon too <3333

Hi!!! omg this is the sweetest message <333 Thank you for checking in!!!

I am doing pretty okay, all things considered! Not much going on since I work from home and pretty much never go outside, but I was already a hermit so it’s kinda like, ideal for me? So not much to report... in the last few days the thing I got most excited about was find this website that makes it really easy to compile an anime themes playlist so I finally went and made one for all the shows I’ve watched (it wound up at 350+ songs and 25+ hours long XD)

Oh!! And I recently just got a new desk that is much bigger than my old one, and I can actually fit my laptop + two monitors on it so I’ve been enjoying that ^^

I hope I do, one day! 

Actually I just started planning one out towards the tail end of last year - a sci-fi heist adventure with lots of found family themes (and gay poly spaceship crew shenanigans). One of my goals for this year is to actually write it! 

If/when I do, I’ll make sure to post an update here :)
