Featured Essence: Lichen and Mosses
Lichen and Mosses essence was made, as some of you learned previously, on a nature-made moss wall, where several species of mosses and lichen live peacefully touching and overlapping one another. The key indication for this essence is trouble co-habiting, sharing space with someone, a family member, a roommate, or maybe a new pet. The trouble can also be unwillingness, an emotional block to begin sharing living space with someone, perhaps after living alone for a long time.
But this is just the beginning of what this essence offers. For essence practitioners, it is important to know how this environmental-combination essence came to be, and that it was made from lichen (a fascinating symbiosis of algae and fungi as of my latest reading) and from mosses during the spring reproductive time (the equivalent of flowering in flowering plants). Intuitive flower essence practitioners can consider this essence for a client if any of the following indications occur: vata imbalance, argumentative or anxious in crowded spaces or in a people crowd, cohabitation problems or dilemmas, emotional intimacy blocks, a couple just moving in together, not enough water and earth elements, worse during dry or cold and very damp weather, better in warm yet moist weather, such as after a spring rain. Practitioners count this essence as one when composing a custom client blend.
This essence is available as a tincture, preserved with brandy, and as an essential-oil scented or unscented aura mist.
