I really need to know who’s still here and who’s gone! If you’re still here and staying please like this post at some point. We will be opening to the public soon and at that point I’ll give everyone a week to get on your characters before they’re dropped.

After the rebellion in Switzerand, the royals could stay no more. There was no safety in the walls, the summit would end or it would have to be moved. Princess Constance of France opened the doors, permission from her brother the King was given. The Royals and everyone involved has chosen to move to France, to find a better welcome and a safer home for the time being. The war is still going but it needs to end, if the royals can not come together they will destory each other.

The event will now be moving onto the part where everyone finds their loved ones, everyone is reunited with the rest of the groups back at the castle that is no longer the glittering gem it was. There are bodies everywhere, and there is damage to people and to things. 

If you would like to do self para’s or finish conversations in Chatzy feel more than welcome. Today or tomorrow I will release a task that has to do with part one of the event that is now closed. 

Please tag all new starters with eth.rebellion2. These reunions will end the 9th, conversations about it will still continue but all reuniting threads need to be posted or started by then. 

Also if anyone’s character was greatly wounded or something groundbreaking happened to your character please send it in so I can post an overall summary of the effects of the event!

As inconvenient as this may be, the sweating sickness has been found in the country as close as the neighboring village. As a result, the castle will be put on lockdown. No one will be allowed outside the castle walls, and anyone that is found to show signs of the sickness will be confined to their quarters. ~The King and Queen of Switzerland.

So for the event the truth behind it is that there are rebellions cropping up all over the area. The swiss army has been dispatched to several of these areas to try to quiet them down, but the Swiss Royalty are trying to keep that down as they believe that it is their own people against all the monarchs being there. This is probably going to lead to some irritability! Plan for that my angels!

The guidelines for this event are as follows: 

The event will last from 6pm CST on Saturday May 20th, until midnight Wednesday May 24th. 

While the event lasts you can do self paras, threads, chatzy’s, whatever. But they must take place INSIDE the castle. 

As always, you can continue any threads after the event, BUT they must be completed before our next event. 

This event is a pre-requisite and lead up to our next one, which will be posted about within this week so we can reblog it several times!

Marriages will take place this week/event. 

The rules for marriages are as follows: 

Please let the main know so that they can be approved. 

Your marriages can take place in any form: Self para’s, a thread, or a chatzy/chatango. If it is the last two then please make sure to post the chat log under a readmore so that we have a record on the dash! 

Keep in mind that once they are married they will have to begin life as a married couple, and the females will have to act more like a married woman would be expected to, or face consequences. 

Last but not least, As always. Our goal is for everyone to have fun! Keep that in mind when we’re doing this!

Okay guys, I just want to take a second and throw some love around. 

So first off, to Admin E, who has in the space of such a short time become one of my best friends, my partner in crime, and the person who screams about this place at 6 am with me. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of that, and all that you do <3. 

Second, to all of you guys. Holy shit. You have made doing this worth while. Knowing that you guys love this place,and that everyone is so active and interactive...it warms my heart. I love all of you guys and I’m so glad that I’ve got to meet every one of you. <3

I guess I’m just trying to say thanks for making my safe space, and my life, ten thousand times better <3

Darkest Secret

For our first official task we would like you to write about your characters darkest secret. It HAS to be about them, but it doesn’t have to be their secret. It needs to be something that if ever found out would really upset the person. For some of you this may be easy, for others not so much. Usually we wouldn’t make this task mandatory, but since this plays a pretty big role in our next event we’ve decided that this one has to be. 

So the guidelines are easy. You can talk about it however you choose, a flashback, a journal entry, bullet points a paragraph. Whatever is comfortable for you. We also would like you to explain WHY this is their darkest secret. The only other thing we ask is that you tag it with eth.task1. 

Other than that have fun! and please like this so we know you’ve seen it!

Alright darlings. Some things have been brought to the attention of Admin E & I, and some things we have noticed. So we are going to address them here. 

First of all: We are trying to keep this group as historically accurate as possible with an AU. which means, that if you aren’t sure if it fits historically, do the research so you can prove to us admins that it is OR come talk to us because we’ve got many of the historical genres covered in terms of learned things. This is before Elizabeth I so things are much different.

On that note, not every queen is going to be a ‘warrior queen’. In fact look at it this way, At this point in time, a queen ruling is an EXTREMELY rare event. That being said, that means while she may disagree in private the queen would be expected to know her place in public or face punishment.

On a warrior woman of nobility: The utmost secrecy would be necessary. Noble woman, and even princesses were occasionally taught archery, or the basics of sword fighting, but anything beyond this and it would have to be a secret. If it did come out then there’s chance that many men would shun then for acting out of their place. The only characters that really get away with the female warrior thing tend to be staff because they are ordinary people. 

A female acting out of character would also be extremely frowned upon. Doing the things boys would do would result in huge punishments for princesses and queens. Nobility would be frowned upon but has a little more leeway if they are careful. There is a difference between rebellion by sneaking off or speaking out of turn, and wearing pants or dressing as a boy, etc.

There is nearly no such thing as being an only child when it comes to Royalty. A male heir, historically, was sought after and a King would keep making babies until he got one. If the queen couldn’t provide she would be displaced and the marriage annulled OR the mistress’s child would become heir and would then be held in higher regard. 

Also please keep in mind that abuse suffered as a princess and as a prince would be entirely separate. A princess is more in line for physical abuse in terms of slaps, shoves and threats; physicality or being locked up. While a prince has an innumerable amount of things that could have been done to him as he was a male. We’re talking physical, to being forced into doing things that he would never have done. 

**All of this being said, there are exceptions to everything and ways that stories can be worked out, so if you have an idea or a story then come talk to us and we’ll see what we can come up with that still stays accurate!***
