I wanna talk about Jessie Shepherd
Jessie is so utterly unimpressed by Silas and his war and Shiloh and the royal family. All Silas has done for her is cost her a husband and taxes, and soon he'll cost her 3 of her sons (David, Eli and Ethan). But while David is alive and free she can do her level best to get him out of there and protect him, but also, she knows in her heart David has a destiny and, even though she hates it, and what it will do to her family and her son, and she'll keep kicking and screaming for it to stop, she knows it's inevitable.
