Send me one of this!
we totally agree and i was sure sweety that you knew what you were talking about,i just wanted to make this clear because other people who may see your post misunderstand this part!ANONS relax with my girl, don't try to say something only to say it without even put the effort to understand her point!
So glad you get me bby ! GIRL POWER
heyy i would be off anon because i think that is the best!i will not say my opinion about the anons and i understand your point about the color and i agree but i don't understand why to tell that a movie is not feminist due to somebody's appearance....i have not watched the movie and probably it is not feminist but if the star was a black lesbian with hair all over her body would not make the movie feminist as well!it is about rights no appearance ( i just wanted to make this clear) xxx
You are totally right, another female charachter wouldn’t have made things different.
For me, the appearance of Gal Gadot isn’t the reason why the movie isn’t feminist. I mean, I didn’t even say I WANTED the movie to be feminist... I just don’t agree to say it’s afeminist movie. It’s just a movie with female leaders.
I’d like the hyppocrisy to stop, it’s not bc you have a female warrior on screen that suddenly you have a feminist movie
Feminism is about activism, it’s a movement, it’s not just a way of thinking or a fashion brand, it’s a fight by women for women.
Regarding Gal’s appearance, I was just saying that WW appearance is pro “male gaze”, while ppl are claming everywhere that the movie is “anti male gaze”, Gal Gadot’s body and face represent the perfect cliché about women sexualized, and so for me, it’s not breaking the male gaze that much.
Besides ! you are totally right when you say feminism is about rights and not appearance, otherwise, critics insist on saying that Gal Gadot’s Charachter is feminist, BECAUSE she doesn’t wear a corset and BC she has jiggling thights and BECAUSE she has grew up with female warriors....
For me, feminism is about empowerment and knowledge, it’s about education and diversity and freedom, not about fighting for mankind to survive while in love with a Bachelor Contestant. Sorry I hated the movie.
For me, all the arguments used to explain why it’s a feminist movie are not valid arguments.
i totally agree with you!finally someone said the truth about faves and all these!
Thank you for agreeing omg!! It’s good I’m not the only one!!
