“ i’ve always wondered how these were made... ” ----- excess time has allowed him to develop less than favorable traits and even now in the midst of their conversation, seimei pauses in front of a stall when the owner beckons him closer. easily distracted, he would NEVER admit, but the speed of which he loses his hold on topics would argue otherwise. fingers prod at the intricate beading between knots advertised as lucky charms, but he and all of those from his world can certainly feel otherwise. it’s almost as suddenly as he had broken the flow of their discussion that he stands alert and regards his company once more with the barest of sheepish smiles: never too embarrassed, he’s grown far too accustomed to awkward exchanges to be affected deeper than the surface. “ ah, but you were saying something, weren’t you? about this? actually, i can’t seem to recall. ”

He paid no mind to those around him, passing them by with awed looks and hushed murmurs of so cute. Ichimokuren’s undivided attention is currently fixated on a rat looking dog with clumps of fur knotted together from what he assumes to be months of neglect. The dog was leery at first, poking its snout out from his hidey hole only to sound the retreat and then poke its snout and sniff the air again. Eventually his patience and soothing voice broke through and the stray tentatively waddles its way at his feet pawing for treats. Squatting down he holds his hand out and allows the furry creature to sniff and lick at his fingers in curiosity before it worked up the courage to nibble biscuits from the palm of his hand. The stray’s ears perk when a looming figure lurks over Ren’s shoulders and scuttles off to it’s place of hiding, yipping as it goes. He laughs and recognizes the silhouetted form which casts a long shadow across the ground.
