Seal leather doesn't have to be horrifying -- harvesting seals is often one of the only economic opportunities for Inuit communities, and they have thousands of years of experience at doing it sustainably. It's not cruel unless you see ordinary cow leather as cruel as well -- or perhaps seal is even less cruel, because the animals exist in the wild until they're harvested. So I see your seal bag as quite an ethical purchase, really.
