"I love French wine, like I love the French language. I have sampled every language, French is my favorite. Fantastic language. Especially to curse with. Nom de dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère. It's like wiping your arse with silk. I love it."
- Lambert Wilson (The Merovingian), The Matrix Reloaded
If happiness is the goal, and it should be, then adventures should be top priority.

My favorite TED talk.
Preserving Earth's Heritage
This calls for the preservation of the Earth's environmental heritage and its cultural heritage, being part of the biosphere and the ethnosphere, respectively.
A society's culture is the sum of cultural identities (language, history, beliefs, rituals, practices, etc.) that are passed from generation to generation. How far back in time this can be understood and preserved gives richness and depth to the Earth's accumulative cultural heritage.
Stewards of the past can be found in archaeology, anthropology, cultural heritage, linguistic anthropology, history, ethnography, and ecology - but ultimately any field of study can contribute to the understanding of culture.
The ethnosphere is the sum of the world's cultures and ensuring for its long-lasting preservation means protecting humanity's great legacy. From traditional knowledge in indigenous communities to archaeological sites, the world's cultural heritage is threatened by modern forces such as climate change, resource scarcity, and urban sprawl.
Conservation photography has been used to advocate for a number of environmental issues such as the effects of fracking, the shark trade, and poaching. This influential tool is now growing momentum, and it presents itself as an opportunity to be used in documenting the challenges ahead for protecting the world's cultural heritage.

I’m a big fan of the German word – whenever I pick up tools, verschlimmbessern is often the result. :>
