This morning, I asked the cards "What do I need to know?" I drew the 2 of Pentacles from The Penumbra Tarot. ✨️ A fey creature tries to balance themselves. She looks back at the twigs that make up her wings, knowing that they will help her. She wears a look of confidence; she's done this before. The Sun is setting around her and soon it will be night. ✨️ I have been on a quest to fund balance in my life between my body, mind and spirit and between work, play and rest. I seem to be always trying to find my way to myself. This card lets me know that I've done this before, I know what to do. I've got this . ✨️ It's been a long journey, but I'm almost there. I have to let go of regrets, insecurities and self doubt, this wl make finding balance easier to do. This morning, I asked the cards "How do I spread joy into the world?" I drew the Element of Air from the Penumbra Tarot. 🖊 The world is in such distress lately. When I woke with a bright feeling of joy in my chest, my first thought was how do I share this feeling? The cards are letting me know that I already do. 🖊 With every word I write, with every stroke of the brush, I bring joy to the world. My words, poems and books bring joy to those that read them, my paintings evoke emotions. This morning, I asked the cards “What have I gained?” I drew the 3 of Wands, the Ace of Wands and the Element of Pentacles from the Punumbra Tarot. 🌟 I was talking to my spirit sister yesterday about what I had given up during my past relationships. I had given away so much of myself until I was unrecognizable. However, I was able to break free of that relationship and start anew on my own. It was difficult to know myself again, but ultimately it was a journey of becoming and transformation into who I was meant to be. 🌟 I gained a new direction in my life as I came to know myself again. I embraced the light within and the flame of my spirit as it burned brighter than ever before. Every moment that I took to know myself all over again was a seed planted in the soil that I was walking upon. As I looked for that new direction, I was setting down new roots and new chances for me to grow along the way. As I took back my life, I was able to gain a new direction, a new connection to my spirit and a new path that was waiting for me the entire time; I just had to see it. 🌟 I’ve gained so much of myself by walking away from that relationship and have indeed found a new direction for myself. This morning, I asked the cards “How do I celebrate the day?” I drew the 5 and the Throne of Pentacles and the High Priestess from the Penumbra Tarot. 🌟 When I look at these cards, I see the journey that I’ve been on. I went through a time when all I wanted to do was hide from the world and let the dark comfort me and provide me solace. After some time, the dark was no longer comforting, and I yearned to step out into the light. Once I did, I really came into my own and embraced my spirit, turning towards what I had turned away from before and I started to become who I was really meant to be and who I was all along. 🌟 One of the things that this journey has taught me is that I carry so much wisdom within me. I know myself completely and all I have to do is to sit and listen, look within and I will know which direction that I need to go in. I know my truth and embrace it completely. This journey has taught me so much about myself but the wonderful thing is that I’m still learning, still seeing what I’m capable of. This morning, I asked the cards "What do I need to remember?" I drew the 7 of Torches from the Penumbra Tarot. 🌟 Seven Wands stand before me, waiting for me to choose one. They are reminding me that I an a warrior and that I am in control of my life. I have to defend myself and my life and go forward, an active participant in the world I am in. 🌟 I've been so fearful of what will come that I've forgotten to embrace what is all around me. To that end, not everything has to be a battle. My Penumbra Tarot arrived last night and it was love at first sight. 🌟 It’s by Ethony Dawn and Eris Elizabeth and I love everything about this deck. The art is incredible, the guidebook is so full of information. I love the cardstock and the guilding, but more than anything, I love how wild the deck is. It evokes nature, the elements and the natural world. It’s just so darn gorgeous. 🌟 I love the care that has gone into this deck and the call to the wild that it brings. It asks the user to go deep within themselves, to look at the spaces around them and within themselves, so that we might know ourselves more. I love that alchemy was included into this deck in such a wonderful way and that they’ve done away with gender norms. I love the body positivity and representation as well. It gives the deck so much depth. 🌟 The cards shuffle so well and normally I’m not one for guidebooks, but I love the channeled messages, the song suggestions for each card and the upright and reversed meanings. There are spreads and methods too! The deck is just so beautiful and I feel like it’s tapping into a wild part of myself, calling me on a journey. Thankfully, I’m ready to take that journey. 🌟 What a sublime deck!
