“i’ve found you!” she pops out from behind a bush, having sensed a human presence from afar. she’d raced to the signature, having longed for some company besides the horde of monsters she had faced upon heading towards the beacon. “comman--” she stops when she realizes that... she is mistaken.
on one hand, the serious expression reminds her of people she’d allied with from her war torn world, but on the other there seemed to have been something else that reminds her more of her enemies than anything. something malicious.
no matter, she thinks it will be good to introduce herself anyway -- better a new friend than an enemy! and, even if he is an enemy, all she has to do is kill him, anyways.
so brightly, happily, and cheerfully, she waves and says, “hello gramps!!” she approaches him, her gun by her side, a grin on her face. she extends her free hand, offering a handshake. “m4 sopmod ii, glad to have finally met someone!”
“who are you? have you also just arrived?” she asks, before suddenly raising rifle. she shoots a monster that had decided to get a little too close to her new friend’s back. “hehehe~” she giggles, “those monsters are a little dumb, aren’t they? bastards don’t know when to back off.”
hey since the monsters were created artificially. or looked to be. when you hack and slash them do they release out data or actual blood and gore?
Oh, when you cut into these things, the stuff that comes out is very, very real...

“Whoa!! Sweet sword!!” It was the first thing Star had to say the minute this man was in her sight. A monster ran at her from behind and she didn’t even bother looking in it’s direction, she just held her wand out and muttered, “Cupcake blast.” A small blast of cupcakes hit the monster in the face and it went down.
“Where’d you get the sword from? You must be pretty strong to wield it. Can I try?”

Why is ogata associated with the cat so much
Wildcats (and felines in general), they wait quietly for their prey and then attack - and maybe this is how Ogata got his moniker seeing as it is what snipers usually do and Ogata really can push it for a long wait too.
I think it’s that anyway?
I mean there’s other obvious cat like behaviours in him but the moniker probably just comes from that

Royalty.
Ja’far knows it when he sees it, and the man he’s watching fight monsters from a concealed perch definitely qualifies. The ring of gold around his temples, his bearing, his armor all allude to it, and that sword. Grey eyes fixate upon it as it swings in an arc through its foes, lighting sparking off of it. It became a scepter, and certainly it’s the closest thing the adviser thinks he’s seen to any djinn vessel since arriving here. At the very least its craftsmanship is impeccable.
Dropping down to the battlefield for a closer look, he wonders: how many other kings have been taken to this city? Who is this one? Upon getting closer, he notices that he’s been noticed- and that the glance full of suspicion he receives also acts as a glare. Mm. Time to try for some diplomacy.
“I am only here to provide aid if I can, your majesty,” Ja’far clarifies with a respectful bow of the head as soon as there is enough of a lull in the fighting to be heard, “There is no need to raise your sword at me.”
Aslan’s outcry shook the rubble as he continued to tear into the mob of goblins that poured into the streets in great numbers. He heard citizen fighting his way through the crowd as well. Ripping through a few monsters he finally caught a glimpse at who was fighting, “You look like you are very accustomed to the battlefield.”
