sigh,,,, they're so silly,,,,
@snewts
don't mind that Stan is taking the bikini off in a not 2d way. it's canon and Steve noticed but didn't give a fuck

Found an interesting interpretation of what it looked like when Bill "liberated" Euclidea. Looks like it's similar to Flatland where the 2D forms of Euclids have outlines of their bodies for skin and organs inside. So when Bill pops up and out and tries to give them three dimensional forms, it's erratic and stretches their bodies and buildings across the Z plane uncontrollably. It's like if our organs got stretched in the 4th dimension.
I'm fascinated with the flatland interpretation because I think that's more accurate to what 2D lifeforms would actually be like. Because just the same in our 3D forms most creatures have skin and organs.
That being said I also understand they're not as... pretty to look at because we're 3D lifeforms looking down at their literal organs. Which I think the Flatland movie remedied this a bit by not only having the organ version for a little bit to prove their point, but also having a version where their bodies are semi-opaque so it's a little easier for the viewer to watch them on screen; lol I imagine we're just as unsettling to 4th dimensional beings.
But! To make Euclids specifically, we only really have Bill to go off of. So while he is an anomaly among his family, I like to imagine that's just his eye. Personally I like the interpretation of his eye being in the center of his body, so he can't actually see his sides. Only up. That or his eye being 3D so no one on a 2D plane can see him, but he can look over and see them from above. His parents think he was born "blind" but he's clearly moving around like a regular person and won't stop talking about seeing "stars up above," because no one else can see it.
But for regular Euclids, I imagine he's pretty similar where they have an exterior carapace that's brick like him. There's potential to be made of other materials, or could just signify the difference between what's flesh vs plant vs building to them. Ya know, solving the whole gingerbread man in a gingerbread house issue before we start saying the buildings are also made of brick. But something unique to Euclids that isn't similar to Flatland is that Bill has arms and legs. I'd assume most similar species have the same amount of ligaments as the rest so most Euclids probably have one pair of legs and arms like him. If anomalies like bill are possible, then there might be some Euclids born with more or less of them; I know the organ version of Flatland characters do have hair feelers that vary. There's been many interpretations on if the black color of Bill's arms/legs are either what he's made of or if it's clothing like his tophat and bowties, which I'll also leave up to personal interpretation.
Which that leads into the last note of Bill wearing clothes. We don't have any notes on Euclidea's culture, so that could just be a Bill thing he picked up from other creatures. Because wearing stuff in the center of one's body wouldn't be visible to other 2D shapes. BUT when Bill broke into 3D then that makes more sense to start wearing the bowtie in the center to compliment his eye alignment. Tophat could be seen in the 2D space since it sits above the body, so that could work. But we've also seen it hold his dimension in the missing J3 page so it does have a 3D form. I still imagine Euclids would decorate themselves in some form or fashion because most cultures will do this in one way or another to distinguish themselves. But their "clothes" and "jewelry" would probably only be on their exteriors and would have to make sure it doesn't hinder their movements too.
i wonder if Bills mother spent her last living words assuring Bill that they stars were, in fact, as beautiful as he'd said.

Geometry apps!
I have stumble upon some of the neatest apps, for a person like me that love geometry, these apps are just what I’ve been looking for!
Euclidea:
IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id927914361 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hil_hk.euclidea This app is only Euclidean geometry, that’s what I like the most. Appinfo: Euclidea is a brilliantly original way to learn about, explore and have fun with Euclidian Constructions! Your task is to solve interesting challenges by building geometric constructions with a straightedge and compass. If you design the most elegantly simple solutions in the least number of moves, you’ll earn the highest scores. Solutions are scored in lines (L) and elementary Euclidean constructions (E).
XSection:
IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/xsection/id1069933287?mt=8 Haven’t found it on Android yet, but this app aims to learn you about Polyhedrons, cross sections and geometry. Appinfo: Learn how to construct cross sections of polyhedrons. Study different techniques, train yourself, and then solve geometric puzzles.
Pythagorea:
IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pythagorea-geometry-on-square/id994864779?mt=8 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hil_hk.pythagorea&hl=sv Just found this game, so I paste the appinfo: Pythagorea is a collection of geometric puzzles of different kind that can be solved without complex constructions or calculations. All objects are drawn on a grid whose cells are squares. A lot of levels can be solved using just your geometric intuition or by finding natural laws, regularity, and symmetry.
Pythagorea60:
IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pythagorea-60-geometry-on/id1043064990?mt=8 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hil_hk.pythagorea60&hl=sv Just found this game, so I paste the appinfo: Pythagorea 60° is a collection of more than 270 geometric problems of different kind that can be solved without complex constructions or calculations. All objects are drawn on a grid whose cells are equilateral triangles. A lot of levels can be solved using just your geometric intuition or by finding natural laws, regularity, and symmetry.
Horis International Limited
All these games are made from the same developer, Horis International Limited: IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/developer/horis-international-limited/id646324304 Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=HORIS+INTERNATIONAL+LIMITED Big up, love this!
gambling shapes
because yeah. steve is taking stan to a fucking casino.
idrk if casinos would be exactly normalized in Euclydia but fuck it, we ball. they exist in this spinoff
original au by @snewts , spinoff masterpost here
also i don't know how the hell euclideans would smoke, but THIS IS ABOUT THE AESTHETICS OF A SHITTY, DINGY CASINO OK. /silly
Speaking of Bill and Euclidea… what powers do you think is intrinsic to Euclids, what is intrinsic to Bill (if any), versus what powers did Bill learn?
Bill's got:
Mind Reading
Possession - corpses or "willing" participants
"Ciphervoyance"/Clairvoyance
Pyrokinesis - tBoB implies Bill has had it since he was a kid so probably did have his back in Euclidea
Shape Shifting
Iconography Surveillance
Dream Manipulation
Body Manipulation - throwing "face sculpting," petrification, and brain rewiring under this one
Telekinesis
