So I never finished posting about this challenge but I finished it on time and it took less than 14 days so it only goes to day 10 but I reviewed everything in thise 4 days without writing anything in the notebook. I came back after a few months just to post this just in case someone needs these resources in future :D

Looking back on this, I remember how hard it was to understand this at the time but as time went by, I got it. It seems like a lot of information but it's because it is a lot of information all at once 😅

Day 4 of the immersive 14 day Euskera challenge (4/14)

Oopsie, I haven't updated you for 2 days. But worry not, I did all my work, even though days 4 and 5 were hectic for me so I had to leave parts of the work for the next day. I'm on track now again :D

10. video: basic verb forms

This was fairly simple. Nothing much to add to it, just look:

* part of this lesson is on the next page (only 2 rows lol)

11. video: auxiliary verb NOR

First I thought to myself "How can NOR be a verb? NOR means 'who' so how can this ever be a verb?" then I realized - it's just verb izan used as an auxiliary verb when conjugated.

I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't fully get this NOR being a verb thing until the next day's lessons which were much more complex than this. So I guess by learning more complex things later, I fully understood the simpler things. Totally logical, yep.

12. video: cases of place and movement (NON, NONDIK, NORA, NORANTZ, NORAINO)

Safe to say I was very scared when I saw the title because I thought it would be too much to learn all at once but it was actually a very logical thing to put all this together because they're all as connected as they are different from each other.

Though I must add, the note I had to write in the end wasn't very useful to my confidence because my first thought was "I have to learn the same for animate nouns? Whyyyyy???"

Can't wait to see what do animate nouns have to offer (:

Day 3 is here and I actually had to use my brain a lot today.

8. video: Translation excercise

This took very long. So this excercise consisted of two parts: 12 sentences from Euskera to Spanish and then 12 sentences from Spanish to Euskera. As expected, the second part was way harder.

The video gives you a small vocab list for the current sentence you're translating so you don't have to spend unnecessarily long time to find the words you need.

This was my point system for the second part:

- 0 points if I got something wrong with NONGO/NOREN (exception: the 5th sentence where I didn't know "Alpes" is treated like the plural of "Alpe" so that took me by surprise)

- 0.5 if I got NONGO/NOREN right but something else wrong (like sintagma nominal, or irder if the words like in sentence 2, or I forgot a word that my brain didn't even register like in sentence 10)

- 1 point if everything is right or if there's some minor spelling mistake like writing r instead of rr

9. video: NORK (ergativity)

Ergativity is very one of the main subjects that euskaldunberris talk about and complain about. Well, let me tell you, it's FUN. I mean, by the time the video ended I got it all perfectly and then I ended up making random sentences for the rest of the day, with words I don't even know how to say in Euskera like: Nik soup jan. I've gone crazy, I know, but at least I got it ʘ‿ʘ

I'll go through this topic again in review days of course.
