EUTER STATT EUROFIGHTER Up to the last second it remained exciting to see if the social sculpture FLYING UDDER could rise in the prevailing lively foehn weather on the #nationalday in 2020. A first attempt to start on a green area in Südstadt had to be cancelled. At the second attempt, when the south wind slowed down, the balloon arose fulminant into the sky at the 262 meter high Roter Berg in the 13th district of Vienna in the late afternoon. During the unpredictable flight, the weather changed and Barbara Anna Husar and her crew flew drove in the balloon from Roter Berg first over the Wiental valley to Breitensee and Ottakring, from there with a changed wind direction to the city center over the Museumsquartier and the Belvedere towards Simmering and the lower Lobau, where the FLYING UDDER landed safely. The elevation of the FLYING UDDER for an appreciative culture of communication was successful. A new trace has been drawn in the sky above Vienna. #euterstatteurofighter #flyingudder #socialsculptureforchange Check out our #flightradar on https://husar.solar/euter-statt-eurofighter 🎈 The social sculpture FLYING UDDER showed up for the first time over Vienna. The hot air balloon in the shape of a cow's udder represents the change in values. The udder, synonymous with the feminine and the first source of nourishment for mammals, is removed from its familiar context. Seeing the cow’s udder as a metaphor for sustainability enables new ways for moving beyond the seemingly unstoppable push for growth, that drives our current economy towards greater balance between humankind and nature. In Vienna, the UDDER was rising on the national day for an appreciative culture of communication and consciously meeting the image of the traditional exhibition of the armed forces with a refreshing impulse.
