*HOLLERS* I was recently introduced to 7th Sea by a good friend who’s been singing the game’s praises for years, and I was fortunate enough to land a spot in their group! Some information about the character under the cut since you asked, @thelegendofivalice !

Evaine is a young noblewoman of Avalon -- a fantastic amalgamation of King Arthur’s and Queen Elizabeth’s England, for those unfamiliar -- who has grown up “wanting for nothing while longing for everything”. She’s a bit spoiled, selfish, and outspoken, but has a good heart and means well.  She’s become disenchanted with a humdrum life of courtly affairs and social obligation over the years, and prefers to spend her time gallivanting across the moors, taking tea with commoners, and getting into mischief deemed unsuitable for her station.  

With her reputation in shambles, her family has forced an engagement to a man Evaine describes as having “the personality of days-old porridge”, so Evaine’s made what was absolutely the most well thought-out, responsible, and grown-up decision she could possibly have:  She ran away from home.

She’s quickly discovered that the concept was far more romantic than the execution, so now she’s just finished slogging her way through a peat bog in not!Scotland after stumbling into an assassination attempt, and has convinced a group of strangers to let her aboard their ship bound for a miserable place while she evaluates her life choices and tries to avoid being dragged back home. Her poor horse, Percival, is constantly left staring into the camera.

I’ve been some combination of out of town and exhausted for the last week or so, but I ended up with more Evaine on my way to bed last night. I’m quickly discovering that she’s a tsundere.

Threw together some quick concept art of my 7th Sea tabletop character while working out her wardrobe design.  If you thought I’d get tired of creating characters with long hair, you thought wrong. The dress was inspired by a few period pieces offered by Armstreet.
