Depravities are real.” (Klaus Kinski) 🧑🏼🦋 - Choosing to be someone he was, regardless of his flaws and depravities, instead of being someone he wasn’t, a phony/faker... that was the MOST admirable trait of Klaus Günter Karl Nakszynski a.k.a. #KlausKinski which is exactly what made him so f**king beautiful!!! 😄❤️ Herr Kinski was hated by MANY of his peers whose lives he’d turned into living nightmares, that’s for sure, but he was also loved by the few people who had the honor to properly know him and understand what made him tick. Among those people were Claudia Cardinale, Eva Mattes, and of course, his dearest friend and the man he LOVED to torment more than ANY other unfortunate souls, Werner Herzog. 👴🏻 Director/Writer/Producer Werner Herzog & Actor Klaus Kinski had collaborated on 5 films together, all of which are regarded by critics/cinephiles (myself included) to be among Herr Herzog’s BEST work, especially considering how #WernerHerzog was the ONE MAN who’d finally penetrated Herr Kinski’s extremely tough exterior and insufferable behavior, discovering a man who wasn’t just a misunderstood and sad soul, but how truly beautiful Klaus Kinski was, and how much the man who’d yelled loudly for MANY days/nights inside a F**KING BATHROOM non-stop (yes, he actually did that! Haha) wished to be loved and cared for, even if he’d made it near-impossible for ANYONE to do so. 💔 Signorina Cardinale, Frau. Mattes, and Herr Herzog were among the few people who got to know the REAL Klaus Kinski, and to be perfectly honest, a LOT of who Herr Kinski was yours truly could definitely identify with, especially in regards to my behavior/mood-swings and “unique” personality, to put it lightly! 😂 Klaus Kinski was Werner Herzog’s dearest friend and his most depraved fiend, one who he loved so much but also hated a GREAT deal. 😈🖤 Herr Herzog once described Klaus Kinski as a butterfly.
