hestia did not want to be here, it wasn’t that she hated parties or anything like that she just still didn’t know these people and frankly was still a little wary about trusting them. before she went to the party her cards were acting strange. as she was shuffling them and putting them away cards kept jumping out and she didn’t understand it. however their was one that stood out, the tower. it was exuding a heavy male energy and she was unsure of what that meant. it lingered in her head as she arrived and became a wallflower. she watched with unsure blue eyes as people consumed the potions but she couldn’t bring herself to taste one. hestia felt on edge the whole night as people passed her, she could see these moments of chaos pass in her head but nothing set in stone. it was odd and off putting but she just attributed to the all the people at the party. their was some sort of announcement, a second round was coming out but she didn’t want that round either. she was supposed to only be drinking water it’s what she was sticking with for the night but as she took a sip she knew something was wrong. hestia dropped her potion bottle on the floor and from her hand exuded ice. that was not normal. hestia knew how to control her element, she learned that easily this wouldn’t have happened. looking at her palms she felt the water from the ground rise up and she pressed it away. that was just the start. around her a flurry of snow danced around her and now she was starting to get nervous. someone stumbled passed her and hestia put her hands out to stop them from falling on her but the moment she touched them she saw their future in her head, it was horrid. stepping away hestia knew she needed to get out and she wanted to make a beeline for the door. but the moment she started walking the visions invaded her mind. some were kind and light and joyous, but the others. the others were dark and filled with horror, nightmares that she could feel. tears started to fall down her face and hestia hated that, she kept a carefully constructed image and it was breaking down. trying to find her way out she made contact with a young man and it was like she was struck by lighting. this was the card she pulled, the past who wormed his way into her head so she could see his future. she felt the breath knocked out of her and she couldn’t stop herself as she started. “you’re the tower. you have to keep rebuilding. you’re mother covered up your destruction. your father knocked you down, your siblings destroyed you, your husband left you with a brokeness you can’t figure out how to repair.” hestia placed her hands over her mouth and shook her head. “i’m so sorry. i don’t know what’s happening, I don’t mean-- i’m sorry. oh god your foundation is so broken. you have to fix your foundation or you will lose it all. you will be destroyed. what is happening! i’m so sorry, they won’t stop.” she raised a shaking hand to her head, frightened, she hadn’t had visions like this since she was a child, when she couldn’t control this power.
