"Run."
Grayson managed to mutter out. Frazzled and confused, he wasn’t sure why he was thrown into the arena, but it sure felt like a punishment. He knew it. Stripped from his restraint patches were a clear sign and a quick lesson learned because without those patches that he had been so dependent on, Grayson felt weak against the monster coming undone. Senses were at high and his heart rate was accelerating. The animal blood soaked into his clothes overwhelmed his nose, let alone that he was already gnawing away on his shirt. Hungry, he was hungry. He had just torn a piece off with his teeth when someone crossed his path and the faint beating of a human heart caught his attention. “You should run.”
