Man it’s been a whirlwind couple of days!!! So this powerful green circle is for a project I have been involved with for the last year. I was brought in by Virginia Elwood and Stephanie Tamez, two tattooers who I had never met before but shared many mutual friends with. They called to talk to me about this project then flew out to Chicago to meet me, talk about it and explain the science behind it. I am a father and a tattooer, not a very tech guy. I had a hard time grasping what was going on with this at first. The science and technology involved were foreign, the language was hard to comprehend. The idea is what really got me though. The idea of keeping something that close to me in a tattoo that I wear started to get me more and more interested. The more people I met and the more I learned about it, the more I felt that I wanted to be a part of Everence. Everence is encapsulated non-coding DNA that is made into a biocompatible powder. The powder is then added to any ink which can then be added to an existing or a new tattoo. I do nothing to obtain the Everence. That is all done through the customer and the website. I have zero say in who uses the website and what tattooer they go to for their tattoo. This is completely customer driven. Tattooing saved my life. It has given me my family, the roof over our heads and the food on our table. I am very proud of this group I am involved with. I respect tattooing and my lineage above all else. I have always said tattooing is a service business. It is about giving the customer what they want as much as it is everything I put into the tattoo. A lot of my customers want meaning in their tattoos and Everence offers that, literally. I've always posted about tattoo products I like using and believe in, especially when a friend asks me to. Everence hits both these points. Though it's not really even a tattoo product, just one that can be used in tattoos. And one that builds on human connections, something that is really needed in the world, and apparently tattooing, right now. #greatlakestattoo #EverenceAmbassador #dontforgetaboutthecustomers #ilovetattooing #ievenloveyou (at Great Lakes Tattoo)
