Hazel: Orange and pink
Everest: Blue and silver
Vander: Pink and purple
Peri: Yellow and red!! shes our outlier!!
Biggest fears:
Jade: toss up between being alone and public speaking
Hazel: tight spaces
Everest: betrayal
Vander: clowns (ironically, marx is a decent friend of his XD)
Peri: if you ask her, none! peri has yet to really understand fear! but her true fear (although she may not know) is losing her family or friends.

for jade, it's her constant struggle with not believing everything is her fault. she puts so much pressure on herself because she's a medic and a knught, so in her mind she's supposed to protect and heal everyone at the same time causing some crazy exaustion and stress on her. there's a hundred thousand people who want to help her, and she's trying to listen, but old habits do die hard.
for hazel, however, it's all sorts of guilt and such a strong desire to protect the people she loves that she loses all regard for herself. these feelings are ones she's learning better to cope with than her sister, but she still has some traces of it (such as so much recklessness that she ends up hurting the people she tries to protect because she ends up getting bodied)
ev is a much more complicated (and much more sad) case. ev harbors some resentment towards his father that he really doesnt *want* to hold on to, and also a lot of unresolved trauma. ev believed his father probably wasn't alive for 19 years of his life, when he lived with his abusive mother. when he was 19 he actually met his dad and that's when he began to resent him for abandoning his son for all those years-and he *mostly* forgives him. but some part of him still can't trust his dad because he still feels betrayed.
vander is your neat little break because he's really just chilling! the most major problem he has is trying to be the best boyfriend he can, but with how much of a sweetheart he is, it's no big struggle.
aand peri. oh girl. peri struggles with emotions, *period.* she was created without them and is just now learning what they feel like. they're still really uncomfortable for her still, but she's formed a lot of good bonds and even got a boyfriend!!
