even though to Taylor the issue is being frozen at the age she got famous or the point where her life fell apart because of fame, the sentiment itself is sooo relatable and resonant for us “normal people” i think. like we all have these certain moments or events in our lives, where it felt like everything flipped on its axis and stood still. these moments that we will revisit for the rest of our lives, the “before” and “after” markers. she’s so damn good at this, at taking extremely specific experiences and making them universal without sacrificing the details, which is a very difficult type of writing to master btw.

ahhhh I love it! from the moment I heard ptt I knew people wouldn’t like it, but personally I think it slaps and is so powerful sounding. u r is my favorite, it sounds like it could be a taeyeon song (and not just because it’s a ballad and shares a name with a taeyeon song lol) and I love that. while I’m still dreaming of the day we get a loona cute concept again, & is such a good take on girl crush, so I can’t complain. plus the ptt video! it makes me crazy!
