Tree Aesthetic
Oak - Solid leather. Steel toed work boots and thick, too-large zip-up sweaters. Old woven bracelets. Black coffee on chilly mornings. Enjoying the scent of wood burning in winter. The refreshing feeling of gulping cool morning air and watching your breath crystallize. The bright white light of just after dawn. Strong of character and will power. Fiercely independent, but not always the most empathetic.
Willow - Loves ponds and lily pads. Still flips coins into fountains and wishes on shooting stars. Soft and calm in nature. Breezy balmy evenings that lull you into a comfortable sleep. Wearing thin scarves on spring days. Watching the breeze carry over lush green fields. Midnight talks and 3am confessions. Very empathetic and compassionate, but easily entrapped in their own inner turmoil.
Evergreen - Steaming espresso in an your father’s old handmade mug. Woven wool sweaters and long sleeve flannels smelling of fresh softener. Quiet moments spent watching the waves roll in on colder shores. Fingerless gloves and chilly fingertips. Dark evenings spent in reflection - spent sipping beer and dreaming of faraway places. Can take things for granted - as if they’ll always be there.
Birch - A collector of everything vintage and precious. Lives their life behind a camera - always thinking of how to frame their next shot. Strolling through flea markets and antique stores looking for the newest piece of decor for their home. Flicking through books at the library and reading through first edition texts. Early evening when the last embers of the sun are slipping below the horizon. So lost in how they think the world should be that they can’t always appreciate how it is.
Hemlock - Loves to cook and bake for the people in their life. Fog rolling in across the woods and fields. Enjoys experimenting with different herbs and spices. Sips their tea soon after waking - just watching the steam curl in the air. Down to earth. Lives in slip-on mud shoes. Outwardly secure in themselves. Amazing forethought that they may not always give themselves enough credit for. A little closed off sometimes.
Maple - Loves sugar cookies and mulled cider. Licks the spoon clean after making batter. Burns sweet scented candles to unwind. Soft humming and intimate slow dancing. Blowing on fresh hot chocolate and watching the mini marshmallows swirl. Reading popular paperbacks and watching comedies. Sunset when the sky is aglow with brilliant orange and pink hues. The feeling of wrapping yourself in a warm blanket as you roll out of bed in the morning and go to grab the paper.
Sycamore - Warm summer days spent lounging comfortably in the sun. Blankets and pillows spread over lush grassy fields. Fruit laden red wine bottles with glossy beads of condensation. Watching movies at the drive in and sharing popcorn with everyone in the car. Grabbing the mail while the morning dew still clings to the local flora. Early afternoon right before the sun is directly overhead. Generous in spirit, but too quick to trust others.
