@everxwatchingxeye said- '}!{ + Discord!'
Discord was bored. Well, his equivalence of bored anyway. To admit boredom would be to admit that chaos was no longer abounding, and that simply wouldn't do at all. No, what he had instead was an over-abundance of normality. That word alone was enough to make him break out into a cold sweat. Something had to be done.
The sitting room in Discord's house was already neatly laid out with all the accoutrements and dainty, delicate things needed for his Tuesday afternoon tea with Fluttershy. Too bad it was a Wednesday.
Frowning slightly to himself, he magicked the living room furniture out of existence, and in a blink of an eye it was replaced with the set of what looked to be a cheesy gameshow. The sound of rapturous applause from an invisible audience filled the room.
"FILLIES AND GENTLECOLTS! PLEASE PUT YOUR HOOVES TOGETHER FOR YOUR HOST, THE CROWN PRINCE OF CHAOS....DISCORD!" boomed an invisible announcer who also suspiciously sounded like Discord.
The audience applause built to a crescendo as Discord apparated onto the gameshow set, dressed in a sequinned jacket and an ill-fitting toupee. He took a few seconds to soak in the adulation of the noise from the imaginary audience, mouthing thank-yous and blowing kisses.
"Thankyou, thankyou! You're all too kind. I'm so honored to have so many devoted fans..."
The imaginary crowd cheered again. A lone voice wooped 'We love you Discord!' in a familiar tone.
Host Discord winked at the crowd.
"But we really must be getting round to playing-"
He gestured towards the imaginary audience to chant along with him.
"WHO-SHALL-WE-IRRITATE-TODAY?'
As the audience shouted each word, it appeared floating in mid air above Discord, written in cursive neon lights.
"And our first lucky contestant today is..."
He ripped open a large golden envelope that had appeared in his claws.
"Why- it's Discord! Come on down!"
Contestant Discord bounded onto the set to face off against the Host version of himself.
"Hi Discord! I'm so glad to be on the show!" Contestant Discord squealed with delight.
"Nice to have you here Discord! Would you like to give a shout-out to anyone before you give the wheel a spin?"
And with that, a giant wall mounted wheel appeared into existence. It was divided into dozens of sections, each with a tiny photo of an individual pony.
Contestant Discord took a deep breathe and started listing off-
"I'd like to thank Discord, Discord, Discord, Discord, Discord, Fluttershy.....annnnnd Discord!"
"Well that's just wonderful..." Host Discord said in his best approximation of a Trottingham twang. "Just go right ahead when you're ready..."
Contestant Discord stepped towards the wheel, rubbed his claw paws together with the glee and gave it an almighty shove.
The imaginary audience started hooting and hollering with excitement as the wheel span wildly about. Contestant Discord started to chant 'C'mon big money!' Host Discord stood behind him, claw on the contestant discord's shoulder.
The wheel slowed, the audience cries got louder. Suddenly, it stopped.
The imaginary audience made a 'woooo' sound as if something particularly risque and dangerous had happened.
"That's enough of that..." Host Discord said, snapping his claw. He and the Contestant Discord merged instantaneously back into one and the wheel and gameshow set vanished.
"Why shouldn't it be the princess? She's not too good to have a visit from little old me surely? I'm sure she's just as bored as I am stuck in that dusty old castle of hers..." he muttered to himself.
He apparated into a raincoat and bowler hat and a furled umbrella appeared in one paw. Humming a improvised tune to himself, he opened the front door to his house in his realm...
...and exited, somehow into the throne room at Canterlot Castle.
"Honey, I'm home!" he shouted.
