“Everyday Killer” by Uh Bones
"Everyday Killer" is a seedy track, which, admittedly, is implied in the nature of the title. The song's got that signature fuzz, giving it a lo-fi finish that transports us into some hole-in-the-wall bar we wished actually existed. The overall sound feels reminiscent of a track off of Harlem's Hippies (Oh, sweet Harlem.) or something found on the Black Lips’ self-titled. Uh Bones’ “Everyday Killer” fits snuggly among other garage rock greats and seeing that the group is from Chicago, I know I'll be scoping out their live sets.
